 Pretty in pearls

Headbands, barrettes, clips and pins have all been overcome with pearls, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Simply tie hair back into a low ponytail, twirl it into a bun, or blow-dry into a voluminous wave, then add your hair accessory of choice, and you’re good to go.

Love loud lips

Bright lipstick is the perfect summer accessory, and yes it can be worn while sipping on champagne and nibbling at canapés. Here’s how…Prep lips first with The Beauty Archive Wedding Cake Lip Balm, £19 then blot away any excess. Apply your colour, we recommend Delilah Cosmetics Colour Cream Lipstick, £24, directly from the bullet, blot with a tissue and reapply again. Follow this two or three times, then dust over the top with a little setting powder. Trust us, that lip isn’t going anywhere.

Peach perfect

Peach is the perfect suits-all shade, especially when worn across the eyelids and cheeks. This soft apricot is the perfect balance to pastel coloured dresses and will instantly make skin and eyes look more alive. For simple touch-ups throughout the big day, keep Mai Couture’s Blush Papiers, £12.50 close by. Not only will they knockout away excess shine, but they’ll also add a subtle hint of tint to exactly where you need it.

 Classic beauty

A classic low chignon is a fail-safe and beautiful option. For a more formal affair go for something slick and structured, hairspray is key to precision. Or for a boho beachy vibe, add texture with a dry shampoo or texturising spray, and embrace those little flyaways.

Glow up

The trend of ‘glass skin’- a complexion that’s super dewy, bouncy and plump, doesn’t seem to be going anywhere - and for good reason. Start by prepping skin with a super hydrating and brightening face mask, such as Wild Source Radiance Mask, £28. Stick to cream or liquid highlighters only, The Beauty Archive’s Illuminating Cream in Empower, £36, adds an ethereal glow in seconds. Fake little freckles or enhance the ones you’ve got using The Beauty Edit Mayfair’s Brow Pencil. £20.
